SUS appoints Mohan as their new head coach

Male', MALDIVES - Super United Sports (SUS) has appointed Mohamed Shiyaz (Mohan) as their new head coach.

Mohan, AFC pro license holder signed a three year contract with the new comers to the top flight. Mohan resigned from Club Eagles last Saturday and managed to get one win in their six games in Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League.

"We are pleased to announce that experienced and AFC pro licensed coach Mohamed Shiyaz (Mohan) has signed for Super United Sports as the Head coach. Welcome to the #SUS team." the club said on their official Facebook page.

SUS terminated the contract with their former head coach Ahmed Nashid on Sunday.

"On mutual understanding the Management of Super United Sports and Ahmed Nashid head coach (naadhu) have agreed to terminate the contract made with the Club. We are very grateful for his service during the time with the club. Thank you for the service and the support you gave to the club as the head coach."

SUS lies on fifth position with seven points from six games. Their only win in Dhiraagu Dhivehi league was against Club Eagles.
