Kolkata, INDIA - Maziya boss Marjan Sekulovski insists that their opponent in tomorrow's AFC Cup clash is a strong side and they will try their level best to win the match.
Maziya will play against Mohun Bagan tomorrow at 1830 hours Maldives time.
"Mohan Bagan is a very strong team with very good players. It won't be easy and we will try to play our game and get three points." Sekulovski said.
Sekulovski also added that it won't be an advantage for Maziya if Mohan Bagan rests their key players for tomorrow's game in preparation for their league game.
"It won't be an advantage or important for us if they rest their players. We will try to play our level best to win the game. I think we know each other and if this is an advantage for us, it will be an advantage for them as well." said the Macedonian tactician.
Maziya captain Asadhulla Abdulla said that it is important to win this game if they want to qualify for the second round.
"If we want to qualify for the second it is very important to win this game. We played against them last year and they were very strong but this year we have lots of changes to our squad and we are better than last year. It will be a competitive game."
Mohun Bagan and Maziya Sports & Recreation sit three points behind Bengaluru and face off in Kolkata with both sides looking to cement a top-two position at the midway stage.
