Maziya departs to India for AFC Cup

Male', MALDIVES - Maziya Sports and Recreation Club has departed to India this morning for the AFC Cup match against India's Mohan Bagan.

Maziya will play against Mohan Bagan on Wednesday at Rabindra Sarobar Stadium, Kolkata at 18:30 Hours Maldives time. Maziya has already played two games in this year's AFC Cup. They won their opening match against Bangladeshi side Abhani Limited by 2-0 and lost to India's Bengaluru FC by 1-0 here in the Maldives.

Bengaluru FC tops the group with 6 points from two games and Mohun Bagan lies on the second position with 3 points from two games. Maziya also got three points from two games but Mohun Bagan got the second position with the difference of goals scored.

Maziya departed with a high hope after a 2-1 against rivals New Radiant in the ongoing STO Male League.
